Will Out-of-State Docs Work in Idaho?

by | Jun 20, 2018 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

I don’t recall ever seeing a Will or Trust that was properly prepared in another state that was not enforceable when the owner moved to Idaho.

So, unless you feel the urge (1) to change the beneficiaries named in your Will or Trust or (2) to change the Executors or successor Trustees named in your documents, there should not be a need to “update” your documents simply because you have moved to Idaho.

But if you do wish to update beneficiaries, Executors, or Trustees (or any other details of your documents), we hope you’ll give us a call to discuss making those changes.
